Senior Thesis

Throughout my last years at University, I traveled to several countries and cities around the U.S., photographing the things I saw. Street Photography focuses on moments when people are in their most natural state. When photographing in a variety places you are exposed to different situational effects. This theory is based on how a person’s culture and surroundings can affect how they look or act. Through these photos, you can see a unique diversity delivery of all of these cultures. There are portraits of LGBTQ+, human rights activists, environmental activists, and just everyday people.  I wanted to capture people in a direct state for them for the most authentic view of people, with variation in each photograph. The photographs, in this series, represent the exploration of the various facets of humanity. Street photography is an acknowledgment of the distinct situational effects that people experience. Throughout these pages, you can see the similarity and differences between people.  Overall, this book portrays people actively moving throughout the world in a variety of ways.
